Rachel Goes Potty!

Our baby girl is potty trained! Rachel is doing really well and has officially left diapers behind for good! It's hard to believe we are a diaper free house after all these years. Rachel was very self motivated to start potty training and would take off her diaper and get on the potty all by herself. She does not like to poop on the potty, so she has stuggled a bit with that part. She tries to hold it as long as she can and sometimes either has a partial accident, or rushes to the bathroom with out telling me and makes a mess on the seat or ground by the potty. It's frustrating, but it still much better than dealing with diapers all day, every day. She's getting better all the time, but we are working on not holding it, and asking for help. Seeing her little hiney in tiny panties is pretty cute! Lou Lou is fiercly independent and I'm sure this isn't the last thing she will do on her own schedule in her own way.

Baseball!

Levi and Joel recently finished another great season of baseball! It was Joel's first season of coaches pitch and Levi's first season on kids pitch. They both played well, enjoyed the game and improved over the season. Joel had a lot of fun playing on a team with several boys from his school. The Dodgers had a good season, and even beat the number one ranked team late in the season. Joel enjoyed playing catcher best of all and was a very consistent hitter. Levi played with his team from last season and they won first place, going undefeated all season! He enjoyed playing second base and a little bit of catcher, but most of all enjoyed running the bases, especially when he was able to slide. He is a quick guy and his coaches took full advantage of his speed. I love baseball and really enjoyed watching them have fun playing! Philip was assistant coach for Joel and enjoyed spending a little extra time with him. It was a good season! Next up, soccer :)
