Nathan is FOUR!

It's hard for me to believe, but our Nate is 4 years old! I doesn't seem possible that it's been 4 whole years since he made his dramatic entrance into our family. Our family is better with him in it and we all love him very much. Nater is an energetic, silly, snuggly, curious, smart and stubborn little guy. He keeps us on our toes, makes us grit our teeth and laugh out loud every day. Life with Nato-potato is fun, interesting and unpredictable. I'm looking forward to seeing where God takes him as he grows up and all the things he will do.

Nathan had TWO birthday parties this year! One with his family (shared with his October birthday cousin Bennett) and one with his friends from church. About a week before his birthday we met up with most of the family at a park and had pizza, played, open gifts and of course ate cake. Bennett and Nate agreed on an Avengers themed party and seemed to love their avengers cake and decor.

Since Nate's birthday was on a Friday this year we had a casual friends birthday party on his big day. It had been raining buckets daily for over a week, so we had to meet up at our church and play let the kids play in the gym instead of going to his favorite park as planned. He requested chili, fruit and ice cake for his meal and a star wars theme. Thankfully, he didn't mind the change of location one bit and had a blast playing with his friends!

Nater Tater is a very special little boy, and although sometimes he knows just how to push our buttons and test our patience, we love him and want to spend all our time with him.
