Look out, here comes a long post about my sister Molly's wedding. I am stealing most of these pictures from my sister Kate, and her blog about the event is likely much more eloquent than mine will be...see it
here.
I must say, Molly & Ryan's wedding was one the most beautiful and meaningful weddings I've ever been a part of! They came up with a great vision for their big day and with LOTS of hard work on my Mom's part, they really pulled it off! All the personal details were so special. The ceremony was beautiful and very deep, touching and thoughtful, while the reception was so lighthearted and fun! I feel like it all was a perfect reflection of Molly & Ryan's personalities as individuals and as a couple. Molly has dreamed of an outdoor wedding since she was a little girl, so we were all pretty disappointed when a big storm rolled in minutes before the wedding was to begin, but I actually believe it all turned out better than we could have imagined once moved indoors. The alter that was made (by Dustin) to be lakeside, was moved onto the dance area at the middle of the reception space, so all the family and friends in attendance were actually surrounding Molly, Ryan and all the attendants. It made for a very sweet and personal feel. I felt as if Molly and Ryan were being cheered on and supported on their big day in a way I've never experienced. So intimate! Meeting all of their friends and seeing how much love and support they will receive while so far from our family, really made me happy! This was their preacher's first wedding, but you never would have known. He gave a very heartfelt and encouraging message and the ceremony went off without a hitch. Molly and Ryan were beaming, tear filled, happy and beautiful/handsome. It was simply magical.

The reception was a blast! Molly and Ryan were glowing and having so much fun and all the planning really paid off. All the food was delicious, and the cheesecakes (Molly's favorite) were so yummy! Both the bride and grooms first dance and the mother-son dance were the best I've ever seen (wouldn't expect anything less from my very talented dancer sister and her musical theater hubs). Half way throught the mother-son and father-daughter dance they invited all the moms and sons or dads and daughters to join them on the dance floor, and it was so fun to watch everyone dance! The guests had a blast with the Polaroid photo station (filled with fun props), and let me just say Molly and Ryan's friends know how to get their grove on and show off their dance moves! Molly and Ryan left the reception running through the guests lined up holding sparklers to hop in a cab (in true NYC style) and head off to their honeymoon in Costa Rica!

The father-daughter and mother-son dances were both sweet and fun! I loved when all the guests were asked to join in!
Levi and Nora danced the night away! They had a blast together right up until they were picked up for bedtime :)
Best wishes and congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Reid! I know that God is going to do great things through your union, and that you will be turning to Him during your journey through life. We love you both so much! Welcome to the family Ryan, we are so happy Molly and you found each other!
