-inches in circles, forwards and backwards when on his tummy, I've even caught him with his knees pulled under himself a few times...sheesh
-holds toys and brings them to his mouth (he's chewing on everything lately)
-babbles a lot and has started to make some consonant sounds in addition to his ooos and ahhhs
-can play in the exersaucer
-sometimes sucks his middle two fingers when he's sleepy
-takes the bottle like a pro when I'm working and is spitting up less often and with much less volume
-grabs his feet and tries to pull them to his mouth
-sleeping much better! The last 2 weeks he has been getting up only once at night (usually) going to bed around 8:30pm, waking to nurse around 3 or 4 and then sleeping to 6:30-7:30am (HOORAY!)
-getting into a nap routine: usually takes 3 naps a day at around 9:30am, 1pm and 4pm with the first lasting around 2 hours and the others usually around 1 hour
Nathan is a sweet guy and is almost always happy. He loves to "talk" with anyone and thrives off one on one attention and face to face time. When he smiles he uses his whole face and body. You cannot help but feel good because his grin is contagious. It seems like we have another water lover in the family. We have warmed up our hot tub a few evenings, and since he is so buoyant he loves to float! Nate rests on his back and has the sweetest peaceful expression while he gently kicks and moves his arms in the water. We are looking forward to lots of family fun in our pool this summer! It's hard to believe he might be walking by then!
We all love our sweet Nate! What a blessing this guy continues to be!
