Seth & Morgan Got Hitched: Part One

My baby brother Seth got married this past weekend! It was a wonderful weekend full of fun, family, the great outdoors and horses :) I took TONS of pictures! So, I am going to break the wedding into two posts, this one for Friday and the rehearsal and the next one for Saturday and the big event!

Friday morning we picked up the great Aunt Molly at the airport upon her arrival from New York, and headed straight out to Mineola, where we were all staying during the wedding weekend. After a quick stop at the hotel to get checked in and change clothes, we all headed over to the ranch (where my parents recently purchased a lot, and where Seth & Morgan got engaged) for the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. My Mom worked so hard planning and organizing the event, and everything was wonderful! We started off by running through the wedding out on my parents land, and everything went very smoothly. Seth and Morgan were both so relaxed and happy! Morgan's maid of honor brought her a silly, festive cowboy bride hat, and Morgan wore it well (she could wear anything well!).

After the rehearsal we headed over to the stables for the rehearsal dinner. My mom decorated so well, you never almost forgot that you were eating and playing in and around a barn (the horses let out a few loud whinnies to remind us). There were so many personal and thoughtful touches and the atmosphere was so fun! The kids (and adults) had a lot of country activities to choose from including, horse shoes, corn hole, pony rides and feeding the horses carrots or apples. For dinner a fun food truck came and served fancy and delicious sliders. There was also chips, salsa, hot cider, shiner and scratch made fried pies. Everything was so yummy! We all had a nice time chatting and enjoying a laid back, country shin-dig. I must say, my Mom sure does know how to throw a party!

After the rehearsal, the girls headed up stairs to the "Bunk house" apartment above the stables, and gave Morgan an lingerie shower. It was a simple, relaxed party, and a lot of fun! Morgan got a lot of cute, cozy, comfy and some silly gifts, and we all enjoyed the bellini bar and mini cupcakes. Christina, the maid of honor, was in charge of decorations and filled the room with hilarious unicorns! It made for a really fun vibe :)

Check back soon for the wedding day post!
