This morning Nathan had his 15 month check up, and it happened to actually be on his 15 month birthday :) Once again I was blessed with an excellent report and a healthy baby boy. He is at such a fun but exhausting stage right now! There is never a dull moment when Nate is around because he is constantly moving, chattering and trying something new. Just watching him go makes me tired, he literally never stops unless he is asleep, and he's a pretty active sleeper. Every day he is doing something new, and just the past two days he has said some new words and seems to be about to start talking instead of just jabbering. When we got home from our recent trip he said "Hi Daw (Dog)" very clearly to Penny. What a cute first sentence! He continues to be a very affectionate little guy and often gives me "hugs and kisses" which are usually accompanied by a sweet little awww sound. He is a smart and curious little guy and really enjoys exploring and trying to figure things out. He is growing up so fast and acting more and more like a toddler and less like a baby. He stopped nursing about 2 weeks ago, and is loving drinking whole milk from his sippy cup. Nathan has a great sense of humor, and loves to make you laugh as well as laugh with you. We sure do love him!

It's hard to believe that in just a few months Nathan will be a big brother! I can't wait to see him with the baby, I'm sure he's going to be so sweet (most of the time). Being with Nate is a joy, he is so expressive, joyful and silly. I can't wait to watch him grow and learn over the coming months!
