Last week Levi and Joel were of school for spring break. We really enjoyed a more laid back schedule and extra time together. The weather was really nice, so most days we spent hours enjoying our back yard.
Pop and Moe treated all three boys to a day at the zoo (which meant I had a day all to my self). The boys had a blast spending a special day with their grandparents and observing all the animals. I enjoyed some relaxing shopping and a lunch date with Philip.

We planned a camping trip to Eisenhower State Park for the last 3 days of the break. Unfortunately, after one night sleeping in a tent my back was really sore and when a rain storm moved through around lunch time, following a cold front, we decided to stay only one night. We had a lot of fun while we were there, and made sweet memories playing go fish in the tent during the storm as well as a fun time around the camp fire the night before. My favorite conversation during the traditional evening s'mores roast ended with Joel asking if a sausage could be baptized and Levi responding that if you washed it clean then it kinda would be. Ha!
We ended the break with Levi's first coaches pitch baseball game. They didn't win, but they sure tried hard and looked cute! I'm looking forward to watching him play this season and hoping to see lots of improvement, he really wants to be a good batter.
It was a fun break from school, and now I'm really looking forward to summer!
