Levi is NINE!

Levi is nine. That means at his next birthday he will be a decade old. That does not seem possible! He is really maturing lately and can do most anything himself. This is very helpful for a busy mom, but also has really increased his self confidence (cough, big ego, cough). Levi loves to be with people, especially his family and church friends. He continues to love all things active and sports and would like to try them all. This year he played baseball, soccer, basketball, and participated in running club and a triathlon. He also enjoys reading (especially graphic novels and historical fiction), watching TV, playing video games, swimming, huning/shooting with dad, riding his scooter and bike and going to bible class. Lately he has become interested in cooking and often helps me at meal time. As is common with his age, he is struggling with self-centeredness and self-control, but he is a sweet, loving a loyal boy as well. We love having him in our family and we are enjoying watching him grow.

He did well at his 9 year check up and continues to be right on track or ahead developmentally. During the check up it struck me how old he is getting while I watched him respectfully engage in conversation with his doctor (it was almost like I wasn't needed there at the appointment). Levi is growing, healthy and smart and we are very thankful for that.

New Stats:
Height- 53 inches (55%)
Weight- 66 pounds (60%)

We love our Leviticus and are so glad God chose us as his family. It is a gift to watch him learn, grow and become the special individual he is. I look forward to seeing where this year will take him!
