Happy Birthday Dear Kamryn!

This weekend we went to Abilene to celebrate our niece Kamryn's 3rd birthday and to spend time with Philip's family there. Levi had a blast playing with his 3 cousins and Joel received a TON of attention from his cousin Kynlee who held him for hours at a time :). Kamryn had a princess party on Friday complete with pink and purple cupcakes with rings, pink crowns and jewlery boxes to decorate and princess t-shirts as favors. All the girls had a blast!

 

On Saturday Levi was up bright and early as usual, but Aunt Tamara was already up (she is the super mom who wakes up before the kids to run miles and miles!) so she took Levi and let me sleep in until Joel woke up at 8! What a treat! Levi loved spending some special time with his Aunt Tam who even took him to get donuts :) We spent most of the day relaxing around the house and watching the kids play. They really did enjoy playing together and Levi joins right in with all the girly fun.

After naps we all went to the neighborhood pool to cool of in the water. Levi, of course, had a blast as usual and the rest of us had a good time watching all the kids jump in and splash around as well as cooling off ourselves. After the pool we had a yummy dinner at the house before hitting the road for home. Joel did pretty well on his first road trip, and Levi has become the expert traveler. Thanks for a really fun weekend Tamara & Derrick! Kamryn we love you so much! You are such a sweet, spunky and funny little (and I mean tiny!) 3 year old girl!
