Summer Fun!

Now that it's September and we are heading into our 3rd week of school I guess Summer is officially over. I'm actually glad to be moving on to fall because it's my favorite time of year, and I also like having the routine of school to help me stay on task and get more done. However, we had a bunch of fun this summer and I will miss the care free days with my boys home all day. I put several of the "big" fun things we did on the blog, but I want to document some of the ordinary fun we had as well. So, here's our summer in pictures :)
the boys found LOTS of cicada shells this year :)

ruba-dub-dub 3 Boyer boys in a tub!
the "boy cousins" saw the lego exhibit at the mall

Rangers game with the Longs!

Donut date with my big boys

we went swimming a LOT! With friends, family and at NRH2O (once)

hours were spent drawing with chalk on our large driveway

Lego Land!!!

The boys and I made a 2 day trip to Abilene and had a blast!

lazy mornings with fun breakfasts
story/craft/learning time at the library

All 3 of them thought this was hilarious
walked to dinner a few times, mexican and braums are just so close!

Levi loved being home so much and "helping" take care of Nate

LOTS of early morning snuggles

climbed our favorirte tree a time or two

made a few trips to the new DQ

visited a "BIG machines display"

Enjoyed the new swing at the park
and fed the ducks
got to meet sweet baby Wesley

watched movies "up high"

nate discovered his love/obsession with balls

nothing better than a big empty box (for days)

hours upon hours of LEGOS!

Our garden was extra fun this year! TONS of cucumbers and watermelons as well as many cherry tomatoes...we have pickles for days stored up. The boys all LOVED helping harvest and water.

Celebrated Moe's 60th birthday!
And Papa's 60th too!

It was a great summer! I made some sweet memories with my boys (hopefully they will actually remember some of them!). Hears to a great Fall and school year!
