Summer Fun!

Now that it's September and we are heading into our 3rd week of school I guess Summer is officially over. I'm actually glad to be moving on to fall because it's my favorite time of year, and I also like having the routine of school to help me stay on task and get more done. However, we had a bunch of fun this summer and I will miss the care free days with my boys home all day. I put several of the "big" fun things we did on the blog, but I want to document some of the ordinary fun we had as well. So, here's our summer in pictures :)

The boys and I made a 2 day trip to Abilene and had a blast!

Enjoyed the new swing at the park

and fed the ducks

got to meet sweet baby Wesley

watched movies "up high"

nate discovered his love/obsession with balls

nothing better than a big empty box (for days)

hours upon hours of LEGOS!

Our garden was extra fun this year! TONS of cucumbers and watermelons as well as many cherry tomatoes...we have pickles for days stored up. The boys all LOVED helping harvest and water.

Celebrated Moe's 60th birthday!

And Papa's 60th too!

It was a great summer! I made some sweet memories with my boys (hopefully they will actually remember some of them!). Hears to a great Fall and school year!
