Tonight our church had a family Independence Day celebration. We all gathered at the church for a hot dog and burger dinner, time of prayer and singing followed by super cute and fun parade. All the kiddos, and some of the adults too, decorated their bikes, scooters, tricycles and wagons and paraded around the building. Each child had their name read out as they crossed the finish and they were all so cute and excited. Levi had so much fun riding his decked out bike (he had a blast helping decorate it this afternoon as well) and we had a hard time getting him to get off the bike. He was all smiles as he rode and his friends were adorable as well. He spends so much time with his friends from church and they are all so sweet. What a blessing it is to watch them all become friends and play together.
It was a fun evening and a great way to kick off the 4th of July celebrations. God has blessed us with the ability to live in a country where we have so much; beautiful land, resources, freedom to practice our religion without fear and the list goes on.
