Father's Day!

We had a very nice Father's Day yesterday. Philip had a quick breakfast of a parfait made of whipped marscapone and yogurt with balsamic berries topped with heath and enjoyed his little gift and handmade card. Then we headed out early to meet Papa (Philip's Dad) at his church and then go out for brunch after the service. We finished off our time with some gelato (all Boyer's have a huge sweet tooth!). It was fun for Papa to show off his grandsons to his friends at church and fun for us to treat him to some yummy food. Philip has a wonderful relationship with his Dad and they really enjoy spending time together. I am so very thankful that they love and respect each other and hope that Philip, Levi and Joel can share a strong relationship for years to come as well. I meant to get pictures of Levi and Joel with Philip, Allen and my Dad and didn't get any (last year was our first Father's Day with kids and I got one of Levi with his Dad and grandfathers...too bad I couldn't have a repeat this year)

After hanging out with Papa we headed over to my parents for a swim party with my Dad's side of the family. Almost everyone was there (we missed Aunt Francie and her family and Aunt Mary & John!) and we had a lot of fun swimming and eating burgers and ice cream. Joel was well loved and got to meet lots of his extended family that had not met him yet, and was held more by other people than his Momma (nice little break!). Levi had a BLAST swimming and jumped off the side from every possible spot on the pool to whoever would catch him about 1,000 times. He is starting to be able to kick and stroke his way to the side a little and I think with a little help he may be swimming by the end of the summer! He is our little fish! It was a wonderful Father's Day and we sure am blessed to have 3 amazing Dad's in our lives!

Joel meeting Great Aunt Cindy & Great Uncle Mark (he loves the way a baby smells...ha!), Great Gramma, cousin Ellen, and Great Aunt Martha

family fun in the pool! cute cousins Lauren & Aiden, Levi with...Moe, Daddy & Uncle Seth and Uncle Dustin
