Joel has been taking one or two steps on occasion and letting go of the furniture to turn around or move between two pieces for over a month now. On Sunday he figured out how to stand himself up in the middle of the ground without anything to pull up on. Ever since then he has been practicing taking steps and is getting closer to walking every day. So far the most steps he has taken was 9 in a row, and he is still pretty wobbly. If he wants to get somewhere fast he still sits down to crawl.
I was able to get a couple of action shots and a little bit on video yesterday and just had to share the cuteness of my little love learning to walk. He is soooo proud of himself and looks over to us for cheering and approval whenever he takes some steps. There is something extra cute about a tiny little kiddo figuring out how to keep their balance and move on two feet :)
