This weekend was packed full of family events! My Aunt Kathy was in town from Oregon, so we had a big family get together at my parents house. We all enjoyed a yummy meal of burgers and dogs with fruit, chips and dips, beans and cobblers for dessert. After lunch we all headed out to the circle for a "game" of kick ball. Mostly we just let all the kiddos kick the ball and run the bases over and over. They had a blast and it was fun to watch them play. We have a bunch of elementary and younger children in our family right now, so it always adds extra fun to family events. Unfortunately I forgot my camera, so I have no pictures :(.
The next day Philip's sister, Tamara and her family were in town. Allen and the Longs joined us for church (we almost took up a whole pew!) and then we all headed over to the zoo. After a sandwich picnic by the zebras and kudu we were off to see all the animals. The kiddos had a wonderful time and Levi LOVES anything with animals, so he was a happy boy. Tamara, Derrick, Kadin, Kynlee and Kamryn, thanks for taking the time to stop and see us during your spring break! We love seeing you guys, and our boys love their cousins!
